If you know us, we LOVE trying new food and new restaurants! This season is the time to do that with all the new restaurants that have opened here in the desert. Here are the ones on our list to try:
Hoja Blanca in Palm Springs
Thinking about red chorizo quesatacos or octopus-topped tetela? This little hidden restaurant in the evenings at Café La Jefé on the Flannery Exchange patio is Hoja Blanca. The food served is typical Mexico City cuisine, think out-of-the-box dishes (ie no fajitas or burritos). Check out this modern Mexican-inspired cuisine!
FYI – This is a unique pop-up at two locations with various hours:

Sol Y Sombra in Cathedral City
We love Spanish food! Send us Paella anytime! Plus this chef is one of our favorites in the desert – he has worked with 533 Viet Fushion, Roly China Fusion, and several others. He’s now onto Sol Y Sombra, this restaurant is located inside the newly opened Paloma Resort is serves everything from Tapas to Paella!
