Mayor Ron deHarte, City Council members, the parade Grand Marshals, and Santa Claus join together to illuminate the city’s spectacular 22-foot holiday tree. Families can enjoy a meet-and-greet with Santa, complimentary cookies and cocoa, and fun arts and crafts for the kids.

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Mountain Station
This year’s honored Tree Lighter is singer, actor, and philanthropist Lance Bass. Festivities begin with a special performance by the Palm Springs High School Madrigal Choir, followed by the illumination of the Tramway’s iconic 45-foot tree, adorned with 4,000+ LED lights visible throughout the Valley.
This event is open to the public with regular Tram admission.
