It’s the Christmas season and that means it’s time once again to take in the most festival street in the Coachella Valley: Minerva Lane in Cathedral City, a.k.a Candy Cane Lane.

Here are five things to know about this Holiday destination in Cathedral City.

What is it?

It’s a small street, basically a block, where almost everybody goes all out to decorate their home with lights, decorations, and displays, and be sure to watch for some surprises as some residents even have a pretty good sense of humor about it.

How to Get There?

Minerva Road is located between Tachevah Drive and Avenida La Vista in Cathedral City.

When Should You Go?

The lights go up every night as soon as it gets dark. There are no official hours for Candy Cane Lane – but, as it is a neighborhood where people live, you probably shouldn’t go too late at night.

We Recommend Walking

A ton of people choose to drive through the neighborhood but, if you park a block away and take a stroll through the neighborhood you will have more time to enjoy it.

Remember, People Live There

Please be respectful of the residents of the street who have gone out of their way to help you enjoy the holidays.

Enjoy Candy Cane Lane!
