Don’t panic! In real estate, we occasionally come across an expired listing. This just means the home did not sell in the amount of time that was agreed upon in the contract between the listing agent and the owner.⠀
Sometimes, the owner will renew the contract with that agent – other times, they’ll hire someone else.⠀
These are some reasons why a listing expires:⠀
- Bad listing photos⠀
- Not priced properly⠀
- Not in showing condition⠀
- Poor marketing⠀
