Welcome to Jurassic Park…..in Cathedral City, CA!
The Dinosaurs have arrived in Cathedral City as part of ‘Jurassic Wonders’ Art installation exhibit.
The metal dinosaurs, created by artist Ricardo Breceda, are historically accurate in size and placed in four vignettes. There are 11 dinosaurs separated into 4 different venues along with signage detailing their time on the planet more than 60 million years ago.
“Jurassic World” sits just across from Cathedral City City Hall on Highway 111 and offers observers an impressive chance to peek inside a gateway leading directly to the Mesozoic era. Cathedral City is collaborating with the Museum of Ancient Wonders on this project.
We definitely recommend wandering around and reading more about these giant metal creatures!
Right off of Highway 111, across from Cathedral City City Hall you are able to park in the adjacent dirt lot and walk around these giant metal dinosaurs!
