1. FARM
Right here in downtown Palm Springs, is the loveliest restaurant with the sweetest setting. It will make you feel just like you are sitting in a secret garden right off of the Main Street in Palm Springs. You can experience a taste of the Provencal French countryside with the succulent breakfast menu items.
All of the produce, eggs and artisanal meats served at FARM are locally sourced.

2. Sunshine Cafe
This is truly a hole in the wall. Mike like’s to tell everyone that Drew Barrymore eats here when she’s in town, but to tell you the truth -we’d eat here regardless of whether or not that’s true. It’s your good old fashioned dinner. With omelets and pancakes, we love their coffee and the California and Mexican Omelets! It small and it does get packed… but it’s definitely one of our go -to’s!

Situated on the grounds of Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa sits bluEmber, the resort’s signature restaurant that puts a clever spin on California New American cuisine. Signature breakfast items include the Smoked Salmon Benedict (with spinach and hollandaise), Crab Cake Benedict (with grilled tomato and béarnaise) and Brioche French Toast (with marcona almonds and local dates). Diners can also build their own omelette or choose the breakfast buffet option!

4. Wilma & Frieda
This is a charming cafe with two desert locations, transports its guests home with comfort food classics, like warm biscuits and gravy and griddled meatloaf and eggs. Last time we were here, Bettina ordered the Eggs Benedict Cubano Style and it was truly delicious!!

5. The Cafe at Sheilds
The Cafe at the famous Shields Date Garden offers breakfast specials that feature free-range chicken and all-natural, hormone- and antibiotic-free beef. Enjoy a refreshing mix of Mexican cuisine and homestyle country staples that are sure to be the highlight of your morning. Try the authentic Machaca con Huevo y Frijoles, consisting of two eggs with shredded beef, red bell pepper and onion, served with a side of beans and country-style potatoes. For a more traditional meal, the Biscuit and Gravy dish is smothered with The Cafe’s own homemade gravy over a warm biscuit, two eggs any style and a choice of a meat side dish.
