Looking for a little Jazz in the desert?

We are often asked where to go in the desert for good jazz…and to be honest we are also on the hunt for these gems. So here is what we could find….

Vicky’s of Sante Fe

They have a 7 day a week schedule including a Jazz Jam and some great artists including John Stanley King and band (Fridays and Sundays), Mike Costley, (Mondays and Tuesdays), Barry Minniefield (Wednesdays), Rose Mallet, Kal David, Caroline Martinez Trio, and more.

The Purple Room

Tucked away in the Club Trinidad Hotel, The Purple Room is where Frank, Sammy, Dean,  and their pals cavorted on and off the stage in the swinging 60s. Step in and you’ll be transported back to the elegance of the era:  an intimate and inviting room, classic cocktails with a modern twist, world-class cuisine, and the best in live entertainment – six nights a week!

Jazzville at the Cascade Lounge

Inside Agua Caliente Casino, Jazzville offers straight-ahead, be-bop, swing, vintage and Latin jazz, neo-soul and special shows featuring variety arts from comedy to burlesque. They are constantly selling out of tickets and a wonderful location to enjoy live jazz of all sorts!
